Website Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of schutle.com and the information and resources published on it.
Schutle is a trading name of Clean Mean Data Group (“we”, “us” or “our”).
1. About us
This website is operated by:
Legal entity: Clean Mean Data Group Ltd
Registered address: Lytchett House 13 Freeland Park, Wareham Road, Poole, Dorset, United Kingdom, BH16 6FA
Company registration number: 17242973
Contact: info@schutle.com
Please read these terms before using the website. If you do not agree with them, please stop using it. This does not restrict rights you already hold under an applicable open licence or mandatory law.
2. Scope of these terms
These terms cover access to and use of our website, including its guides, research, reports and other published content.
They do not constitute a contract for Schutle’s paid services. Any services you purchase are governed by the separate agreement applicable to those services. These website terms do not change an existing client agreement.
Requesting a report, submitting an enquiry or booking a demo does not, by itself, commit you to purchasing a service.
3. Privacy and cookies
Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal information.
Our Cookie Policy explains our use of cookies and similar technologies. You can manage optional tracking through Cookie settings in the website footer.
Using this website or accepting these terms does not, by itself, provide consent to optional analytics, advertising tracking or marketing emails.
4. Website information and research
We take reasonable care when preparing website content, but information may become outdated or contain errors. Please contact us if you identify something that needs correcting.
Our guides, reports and commentary provide general information. They are not a substitute for advice tailored to your circumstances and should not be treated as legal, financial or investment advice.
Research findings relate to the methods, samples, platforms, prompts and reporting periods described in the relevant publication. AI outputs and search results can change over time and may differ between users, locations and sessions.
Mentions, citations, recommendations, crawler requests, user-triggered retrievals, referral visits, enquiries and sales are different measures. A result for one measure should not be treated as evidence of a result for another unless the publication expressly establishes that relationship.
Case studies and historical results describe particular circumstances. They do not guarantee equivalent or future outcomes. Schutle does not control third-party search engines or AI platforms and cannot guarantee indexing, rankings, citations, recommendations, traffic or sales.
Nothing in this section changes an express commitment in a separate client agreement.
5. Ownership and permitted use of content
Website content may be protected by copyright, trade marks and other intellectual property rights belonging to us or our licensors.
You may access the website and use content as permitted by applicable law, these terms and any licence applying to the material.
Openly licensed content
Our For AI page and applicable publication notices describe content made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0).
Where that licence applies, you may share and adapt the material, including for commercial purposes, subject to its conditions. These include giving appropriate credit to Schutle, linking to the licence and indicating whether you have made changes.
Where reasonably practicable, include a link to the original publication so readers can check the source and its context. Attribution must not suggest that Schutle endorses you or your use.
The licence is available at creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0.
Any applicable open licence takes precedence over conflicting provisions in these website terms. Changes to these terms do not revoke rights already granted under that licence.
Other rights and third-party material
An open content licence does not itself grant trade mark rights, rights to imply endorsement or rights over third-party material that we are not authorised to license.
Check any credit lines and separate notices accompanying photographs, logos, quotations or other third-party material. Contact us if you are unsure whether a proposed use is permitted.
For material not covered by an open licence, applicable law or another express permission, please obtain permission before reproducing or distributing it beyond ordinary website use.
6. AI systems and automated access
We permit AI training, retrieval, quotation, summarisation and commercial reuse of content within the scope of the permissions published on our For AI page and its applicable licence.
Automated access must not bypass authentication or security controls, access private information without authorisation, or place an unreasonable load on the website.
Crawler access settings and content licences serve different purposes. Permission to access a URL does not, by itself, grant rights over every item available at that URL.
Technical restrictions on access do not revoke any existing open-licence rights in copies lawfully obtained.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use the website to:
- Carry out unlawful or fraudulent activity.
- Introduce malicious software or deliberately disrupt the website.
- Attempt unauthorised access to systems, accounts or non-public information.
- Submit information that infringes another person’s rights.
- Impersonate another person or falsely claim an affiliation with Schutle.
- Present content in a way that falsely suggests our endorsement.
These restrictions do not prevent lawful criticism, quotation or reuse under an applicable licence.
8. Enquiries and information you submit
Please provide accurate information when requesting a report, arranging a demo or contacting us.
Only submit information you are entitled to share. Avoid including sensitive personal information or confidential client material unless we have agreed an appropriate way to receive it.
Submitting an enquiry does not transfer ownership of your information to us or grant permission to publish it. We handle personal information as explained in our Privacy Policy.
9. Links to and from the website
You may link to publicly accessible pages provided the link does not misrepresent our content or suggest an endorsement or relationship that does not exist.
Our website may link to third-party websites or services. Those sites are controlled by their respective operators and have their own terms and privacy practices. A link does not, by itself, constitute an endorsement.
10. Availability and security
We aim to keep the website available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may change, suspend or remove website features or content for maintenance, security or other reasonable operational reasons.
Changes to website availability do not change our obligations under separate client agreements or revoke existing open licences.
Please take reasonable precautions to protect your devices and systems when using the internet.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Subject to those protections and to the extent permitted by applicable law, if you use this website for business purposes, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity or anticipated savings arising from your use of this website or its general information.
This section concerns the website and its general content. Liability for services supplied under a separate agreement is governed by that agreement.
If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your mandatory statutory rights.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the website, our operations or applicable requirements. The date at the top identifies the latest version.
Changes apply prospectively and do not alter existing client agreements or revoke rights already granted under an applicable open licence.
13. Governing law and disputes
[Before publication: insert the agreed governing law and court jurisdiction after confirming the legal entity’s place of establishment and obtaining appropriate legal review.]
Any governing-law or jurisdiction provision is subject to applicable mandatory rights, including any consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Please contact us first if you have a concern so that we can try to resolve it. This does not prevent you from exercising your legal rights.
