This policy covers our website and prospective-customer communications. It does not replace any separate privacy information or data-processing agreement applicable to the services we deliver for clients.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Your name and business contact details.
- Your company or agency name, website, role and number of offices.
- The report, demo or service you are interested in.
- Information you include in a form, email or other correspondence.

Please avoid including sensitive personal information or information about other people unless it is necessary for your request.
Website and analytics information
Our website and hosting services may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device details, requested pages, timestamps and error or security logs.
Where you consent to analytics, Google Analytics 4 collects information about website activity, such as pages viewed, engagement, referral sources, campaigns, download-link clicks and configured enquiry events.
A download-link click does not necessarily mean a download was completed. An enquiry event does not mean a meeting took place or that someone became a customer.
Where information comes from
We collect information diyou, through your use of our website, social media forms, events, webinars and through service providers used to handle your requests.
3. How and why we use your information
The table below explains our purposes and the legal grounds we rely on where UK or EU data protection law applies.
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Deliver a report you request and respond to general enquiries | Our legitimate interests in providing requested information and responding to people interested in our business |
| Arrange demos, answer service questions and discuss proposals with business representatives | Our legitimate interests in developing and managing business relationships |
| Take steps at your request towards a contract directly with you, or perform that contract | Contract |
| Send optional newsletters, research updates or promotional emails | Consent |
| Measure website use through optional analytics | Consent |
| Operate, troubleshoot and protect our website and systems | Our legitimate interests in maintaining a reliable and secure service |
| Meet applicable legal obligations | Legal obligation |
| Establish, exercise or defend legal claims | Our legitimate interests in protecting our legal rights |
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider the necessity of the processing and its impact on your rights and interests.
Providing enquiry details is voluntary. However, if you do not provide information needed to respond or deliver a requested report, we may be unable to fulfil that request. Forms identify required fields.
4. Reports, enquiries and marketing
If you request a report, we use your details to provide it and handle related questions. If you request a demo or information about our services, we use your details to arrange and respond to that request.
Requesting a report or demo does not, by itself, subscribe you to ongoing marketing emails. Where we offer a marketing subscription, the choice is separate and optional.
You can withdraw marketing consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in our marketing emails or by contacting us. This does not prevent us from responding to an outstanding request or sending necessary service communications.
We may retain a minimal record of your opt-out so that we can respect it.
5. Cookies and Google Analytics
We use necessary technologies to operate the website and remember your cookie choices. With your consent, we also use Google Analytics 4 to understand website use and the performance of our content and campaigns.
Under our consent-based setup, Google Analytics is not enabled until you accept analytics cookies. You can change your choice through Cookie settings in the website footer.
Rejecting analytics does not prevent you from requesting reports or submitting enquiries. We still receive and process the information you choose to submit, even where no corresponding analytics event is recorded.
We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, telephone numbers or enquiry text to Google Analytics.
For details of the technologies, purposes and durations, see our Cookie Policy.
6. Who receives your information?
We share information where needed to operate the website, handle requests and meet our obligations. Relevant recipients may include:
- Website hosting, maintenance and security providers.
- Form-processing, email and customer relationship management providers.
- Appointment-booking providers.
- Google, when consented analytics is enabled.
- Professional advisers where necessary.
- Regulators, courts or other authorities where disclosure is legally required.
Providers processing information on our behalf must act under appropriate contractual arrangements and instructions. Where a provider acts as an independent controller, its own privacy information also applies.
7. International transfers
Some suppliers may process personal information outside the country where you are located, including outside the UK or European Economic Area.
Where applicable law requires protection for an international transfer, we use an appropriate legal mechanism. This may involve a recognised adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards, together with additional measures where necessary.
You can contact us for further information or to request a copy of relevant safeguards, subject to appropriate redactions.
8. How long we keep information
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for its purpose, taking account of legal obligations, the relationship involved and any need to resolve disputes.
| Information | Retention period or rule |
|---|---|
| Report requests and general enquiries | From form completion to closure of enquiry process. |
| Demo requests, proposals and prospective-client records | From form completion to closure of enquiry process. |
| Marketing subscription records | From form completion to opt out. |
| Marketing opt-out records | For as long as necessary to respect the opt-out, retaining only the minimum information needed |
| Consent records | 12 months |
| GA4 user- and event-level data | 12 months |
| Website security and access logs | No applicable |
Where an enquiry becomes a client relationship, relevant records are retained under our client-record retention arrangements.
9. Keeping information secure
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. These measures are proportionate to the information and risks involved.
No website or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
10. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Access your personal information.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request deletion.
- Restrict how we use your information.
- Receive certain information in a portable format.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Object to direct marketing at any time.
- Withdraw consent where processing relies on it.
These rights are subject to applicable conditions and exceptions. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
To exercise your rights, contact info@schutle.com. We may request proportionate information to verify your identity and will respond within the applicable legal timeframe.
11. Complaints
You can contact us if you have concerns about how we handle your information. You also have the right to complain to the relevant data protection authority without first contacting us.
For example:
- In the UK: the Information Commissioner’s Office.
- In Spain: the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.
Where EU data protection law applies, you may also complain to the supervisory authority in the country of your habitual residence, place of work or the alleged infringement.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices or legal requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest update.
Where required, we will inform you about material changes and obtain consent before starting new consent-based processing.
